Discipling the Young Teens

Teenscene is a discipleship group for 11-14 years old (school years 7-9). Our aim is to teach the foundations of Christian life in a relevant and fun way.

When, Where and How?

We work in two ways:

Wednesdays 7-8:30pm

Young people meet for teaching, worship, bible study and games.

Sunday Worship 10:45am

Teensceners who regularly worship with whole church family are involved in different ministry groups on a rota basis. They shadow church members in different roles such as stewards, tea & coffee, junior church leaders, sound desk, playing with under 3 years with mum's supervision.

This enables them to start being part of the worshipping body on a regular basis, build relationships with older members of church and explore areas where they can serve and learn skills.

Socials

We aim to have at least one social per half term. This is usually along the lines of an outside game or activity.
