Vibrant Worship
Worship is a major part of our Sunday Mornings at HCC. We want to declare God's goodness and enter into God's presence to give Him the glory that He deserves. The worship can be loud and vibrant as well as intimate and quiet but our aim is to express our thanks and love for our God and His son Jesus.
There is a power in worship and when we submit ourselves in worship to God. He is then free to move in our lives and challenge our thinking.
We want our worship to be led by God's Spirit and so there is a freedom to express our worship in anyway that God's Spirit leads.
Communion
Communion is a small meal that reminds us of what Jesus did to show us that He loved us. The broken bread speaks of His body broken for us. The red wine is poured out and served to speak of the blood poured out to wash away the guilt and shame of our sin. Read more about Jesus
Communion takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
The Word
The word of God is important to us. It is what drives us and instructs on how to live. As Christian Disciples we need Gods word to live holy and pleasing lives before God.
The word of God is preached every Sunday Morning, usually by the Pastor but sometimes by other recognised teachers of God's word. Sometimes we have guests preachers who bring God's word to us.
Time for a cuppa...
At the end of our meeting we like to catch up with one another over a cuppa and some custard creams. Uniquely all ages mix and chat to one another. This time is open for people to share laughter, tears and love with on another as well as an oportunity to receive prayer and encouragement.
